When I am in the zone, I can churn out idea after idea. I make all of my pieces in my New York home by myself. I am always striving for an out-of-the-box idea. I enjoy working with all sorts of mediums, including glass, yarn, felt and upcycled paper. Putting all the components together in a piece is what I enjoy. It was then that I decided that I want to open my own shop and share my love of this form of artwork.Ĭolor, nature and the places I have been serve as my inspiration for my pieces. I began to make jewelry for myself and friends and family. At the show, someone showed me how to construct a necklace and I was officially hooked. I fell in love with this world, the people and the little pieces of art that can be found in a bead. In 2004, just by chance on an afternoon lunch break, I went to my first bead show. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity feed this need while being home with my son.who also likes to be "artsy". My need to create is something I crave daily. My mother used to say I was "artsy" and she had no idea where I got it from. For as long as I can remember, I have always been crafty.
